Born on August 14, 1973, in Saitama, Japan, Ishiwatari graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a degree in arts and sciences.
Career at Arc System Works
Ishiwatari joined Arc System Works as a game designer in 1998. He is best known for his work on the Guilty Gear series, for which he serves as the series director and chief creative officer. Additionally, he has directed and designed other titles for the company, including The Last Blade and Battle Fantasia.
Contributions to Guilty Gear
