Emma Cahill: The Woman with Europe's Largest Feet
Emma Cahill, a 19-year-old British student from Worcester, has the largest feet in all of Europe. Standing at a towering height of 196 cm, Emma wears a shoe size of 49, which is approximately twice the average women's shoe size. While her height and feet are proportional, finding a pair of shoes in her size is no easy task.

A Struggle for the Perfect Shoes
Like any other girl, Emma loves beautiful high-heeled shoes. However, finding something suitable for her is a lifelong problem. She has to send her only pair of shoes from the USA for repairs three times a year. Emma, a student at Oxford Brookes University, is constantly faced with the challenge of finding footwear in her size, often referred to as the "latest size."

A Unique Comparison
Interestingly, someone once compared Emma's feet to those of English footballer Peter Crouch, and she surpassed him by three sizes. Emma says, "I think I have the largest foot size in Europe, and because of this, it is impossible to find something suitable. I have one pair of high-heeled shoes, but they are not that great. I dream of having a pair of 'Louboutins'."

Difficulties in Love
On the personal front, Emma faces many challenges when it comes to dating. Men are often intimidated by her tall and powerful presence. She says, "I personally like being tall. Only once did someone try to pursue a relationship with me in a club, and he turned out to be taller than me. Besides both of us being tall, we had nothing in common. I would prefer to date someone taller than me, but I understand that I cannot set my expectations too high."

Everyday Struggles
Among other difficulties, Emma faces the daily struggle of finding a comfortable position in almost any car. She has bumped her feet against car door frames so many times that she has decided to take precautions at home to avoid further injuries. Emma says, "I felt so relieved when my feet stopped growing. In the end, I ended up with feet that were terrifying – like boats."
A Wardrobe Challenge
Updating her wardrobe is also a problem for Emma. She is forced to wear leggings under dresses that end up being too short for her. Preferring 3/4 length jeans, Emma simply cannot find suitable pants for herself. Returning to the main problem of footwear, Emma says, "I love shoes, but it's so difficult to get a pair that I like. There is only one place where I can buy shoes – in Germany. The last time I spent £500 on five pairs."
A Precious Pair of Shoes
Over the past six years, Emma has only been able to treat herself to one pair of gold-plated boat shoes, which she bought from a US website. Unfortunately, that supplier is no longer in business. She cherishes these shoes, changing the heels three times a year and repainting the surface with a new layer of "gold" paint. Emma says, "I try to keep up with trends, but when it comes to choosing an outfit for the same pair of shoes, there's not much variety."
A Future Shopping Trip
Emma concludes, "I think I will have to plan another trip to the store in Germany. When I was last there, I was thirteen and my size was 46. But my feet have grown since then, so I had to stretch the shoes. The German store, which once saved Emma, does not sell size 49 shoes. The limit stops at one size smaller. However, they have promised to make shoes specifically for her feet. Besides that, as Emma admits, she has no one else to rely on.
