Biography of Akhmat Azimov

Akhmat Azimov, an Uzbek serial killer, was born in 1972 in Uzbekistan. He gained his first taste for blood while serving in the army. During a fight, Azimov bit his opponent's hand, licked his bloody lips, and proceeded to suck the blood from the wound. His fellow soldiers were shocked by his behavior and never dared to provoke him again.

After escaping from the army, Azimov was apprehended and sentenced to prison for desertion. However, he managed to escape from prison multiple times. In 1992, he fled from a prison in Bukhara, where he was serving his sentence. Azimov would later explain his constant escapes as a desperate need to quench his thirst for blood.

Azimov's first victim was a four-year-old boy. He would often travel around Uzbekistan, torturing and extracting blood from his victims on a daily basis. Besides his vampiric tendencies, Azimov subjected the children to daily beatings and sexual violence. Eventually, when the child was almost drained of blood, Azimov threw him into a waterfall, strategically choosing a location where the impact would not kill the child instantly.

Azimov led a nomadic lifestyle, constantly on the move. His next victim was a six-year-old boy, but for some reason, the taste of his blood did not satisfy Azimov, so he left the child with a family who had offered him shelter for the night. Instead, he persuaded the family's seven-year-old son to accompany him on a bike ride.

The following victim was a three-year-old boy. After the child soiled himself in fear on a bus, Azimov drowned him in a ditch. His nephew, the son of a relative who supplied him with syringes and psychotropic drugs, became his next target. However, the boy managed to escape. Unfortunately, the police did not believe the terrified child's account, giving Azimov another chance to continue his heinous acts.

Azimov was eventually captured due to a fortunate turn of events. Prior to his arrest, law enforcement had not been actively searching for the vampire-like killer, dismissing witness accounts as drunken ramblings. However, one night, Azimov brought his latest victim to the house of an acquaintance. The acquaintance, after hearing about Azimov's forced involvement of the child in another murder and his preferred beverage, alerted the police.

Despite Azimov's apparent fearlessness, he did experience one unsettling incident during his time in prison. While under investigation, he was placed in a cell where other inmates were aware of his crimes. The night that followed was filled with acts of retribution, causing Azimov to lose the self-respect he once held as a man.

In 1994, Azimov was sentenced to death. His crimes, characterized by extreme cruelty and vampirism, led to his ultimate fate - execution by firing squad.
