Early Life and Education

Aisulu Azimbayeva was born on January 9, 1988, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Her father, Marat Azimbayev, was a renowned judoka who became the first Kazakh European Judo Champion in his youth. Aisulu's mother, Karima, is of European descent and maintains a youthful appearance.

Growing up, Aisulu excelled academically and pursued diverse interests. She attended music and language schools, studied dance, and exhibited a natural talent for mathematics. After graduating from a private school at the age of 16, she enrolled in the American University in Dubai to study Financial Analysis.

Career Beginnings

Despite obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aisulu realized her passion lay elsewhere. She ventured into the advertising industry and event planning before landing her first major acting role in the Kazakh television series "Asel, Friends and Friends" in 2010.

Her breakthrough came in 2015 with her role in the miniseries "Unbreakable," an adaptation of "The Count of Monte Cristo." Aisulu also made her mark in theater, performing in notable productions such as "The Mistress."

Film and Television Success

Azimbayeva went on to star in several notable film and television projects, including a 60-second parody of Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan," the thriller-metaphor "She," and the documentary "Return from Khan-Tengri."

In 2021, she joined the cast of the popular Russian series "Patriot," portraying Aiza Azimova, a key comrade-in-arms for the protagonist.

Personal Life

Aisulu Azimbayeva was once romantically involved with actor and stuntman Zhandos Aybasov. However, the pair eventually parted ways. Her brother, Abduali, married in 2021.

Aisulu maintains a close friendship with actor Chingiz Kapin, with whom she shares the stage in the play "Happy Singers." She attributes her youthful appearance to good genes and regular Botox injections.

Hobbies and Interests

In addition to acting, Aisulu enjoys mountain climbing. In 2019, she conquered Mount Kazbek in the Caucasus with the captain of the Kazakhstan Mountaineering Team.
