Biography of Alan Rickman
Alan Rickman, the renowned English actor, was born on February 21, 1946, in Hammersmith, London, UK. His mother was from Wales and his father was from Ireland. Rickman completed his education at the Royal College of Art in London and then attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his career in 1978, playing the role of Tybalt in a televised version of "Romeo and Juliet". He gained nationwide fame and recognition through his work on British television, appearing in various series.
Despite becoming a successful film actor with numerous awards, accolades, and nominations, Rickman continued to work in television. Some notable television roles include "Fallen Angels" (1993) and "Rasputin" (1996).
