Early Life and Career

Born in Italy, the footballer played as a defender during his playing career. He made his debut in the Russian Premier League in 2003, becoming the first Italian player to play in Russia.

Time in Russia

In 2003, the defender signed for Russian club Uralan Elista. He made his debut in March of that year and went on to make a total of 21 appearances in the league and one in the Russian Cup.

International Experience

Beyond his club career, the defender also represented Italy at the youth level. He was part of the Italian team that won the Mediterranean Games in 1997. Additionally, he played for Padania, a non-FIFA-affiliated team, and helped them win the VIVA World Cup in 2008.

Coaching Career

Following his retirement as a player, the defender transitioned to coaching. He currently holds the position of head coach of the Italy national under-17 football team.
