Biography of Alex Hunt
Alex Hunt, a one-armed tennis player from Wakefield, New Zealand, made history as the first disabled player to earn ranking points in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). With limited physical abilities, Alex Hunt always believed that he could compete with professional tennis players. Despite only being able to use his left hand (prosthetic) to toss the ball during serves, Hunt never gave up and constantly improved his game.

Education and College Career
Hunt attended St. Mary's College in California, where he represented the college tennis team for four years. After his college career, he successfully transitioned to the professional level.

Breaking Barriers on the ATP Tour
In the first round of the 'Guam F1 Futures' tournament, Hunt made history as the first disabled player to earn ranking points in the ATP. He defeated 18-year-old Christopher Cajigan with a score of 6-0 6-0 in a 48-minute match. Born without his left arm below the elbow, Hunt relies on his strong serve and forehand in his tactics.

Pursuing a Higher Ranking
Currently ranked 49th in New Zealand, Hunt has dedicated himself to competing in tournaments in Asia and Europe to improve his global ranking. His ultimate goal is to compete in a Grand Slam tournament.

International Experience
Hunt expressed that competing abroad has opened his eyes to the world of tennis. Playing on the club courts in Europe, filled with competitive players, has provided him with invaluable experience that he couldn't have gained at home. Hunt is inspired by his opponents' determination and fighting spirit on the court.
Early Start and Favorite Surface
Hunt began playing tennis at the age of six and his favorite surface is hard court. His coach is John Gardiner.
