Biography of Alexander Yagya

Alexander Yagya, the lead singer of the pop group 'Beloy Orel', is a laureate of International Competitions and the recipient of the "Slavianski Bazaar-98" Audience Sympathy Prize. His creative career began at a very young age. Born into a musical family, Alexander showed an incredible desire to sing and play the guitar in his early childhood. He became a constant soloist in the boys' choir after enrolling in a music school. He never missed a competition and almost always became its laureate.

After successfully completing music school, Alexander was called to serve in the ranks of the Soviet Army, where he was a diligent soldier and an irreplaceable soloist in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Siberian Military District. After his military service, he gathered talented musicians around him and went abroad to work. He worked for a long time with leading musicians of the Bulgarian music scene, and later became a soloist for the Dutch group "Marathon" and the show program "Variety".

Successful tours in Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, and Africa, along with his charm and love for singing, brought Alexander great popularity and success, as well as a large number of fans. In 1997, Alexander returned to Russia. His active creative life, participation in competitions, collaboration with many stars of the national pop scene, and even teaching at the Gnesin Academy of Music and the Moscow Music University on Taganka solidified his popularity.

In June 2002, the presentation of Alexander Yagya's solo album "Remember" was held at the "Manhattan" club, released by the company "Song Factory". When asked about his musical preferences, Alexander answers that he loves very different music, and perhaps the only criterion in choosing favorite artists is their professionalism. He names Michael Bolton, Tom Jones, and Freddie Mercury as his clear "favorites". Since 2006, he has been the constant soloist of the most scandalous and mysterious group in the Russian pop scene, "Beloy Orel".
