Ali Gasanov, an Azerbaijani artist and musician, emerged as a pioneer of performance art in Azerbaijan. His multifaceted artistic journey began as a costume designer at Azerbaijanfilm and evolved to encompass various roles, including costume designer and set decorator for the State Experimental Theatre, art director for the magazine "Forsage," and advertising agency "Khatt."

Gasanov's artistic endeavors have extended beyond the confines of Azerbaijan, reaching international recognition. His works have been showcased in Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia, France, Norway, Greece, and Italy, captivating audiences with their unique blend of performance art and visual expression.
Music and Performance Art
Aside from his visual art, Gasanov is the founder and leader of the musical group "PG Large Used Project." Through his performances, he explores themes such as globalization and its impact on society. One of his notable installations, "Owners," an anti-globalist work, was presented at the 55th Venice Biennale as part of the international project "Love Me, Love Me Not" organized by "YARAT!"
