Biography of Alla Kostromicheva
Childhood and Early CareerAlla Kostromicheva, a Ukrainian model, is considered one of the best Ukrainian models in the industry. Despite her success, Alla had a difficult childhood due to her insecurities about her appearance. She started her modeling career relatively late and pursued it alongside her studies in a technical field. Alla believes that to succeed in the modeling industry, one must possess not only the necessary physical attributes but also special character traits, such as hard work, sociability, and self-promotion.

Birth and Upbringing
Alla Kostromicheva was born on July 11, 1986, in Sevastopol, Crimea, Ukraine. Her family had no connection to the world of high fashion. Alla struggled with sensitive skin, dense and long hair, and what she believed were too thin legs, often opting to wear wide-legged pants to conceal them. She was not particularly tall either, ranking only fourth in her physical education class. Secretly, she dreamed of becoming an actress but realized at the age of 16 that her insecurities could hinder her life. Overcoming her own complexes, she decided to attend a modeling school and was accepted, thus beginning her path in the industry.

Modeling Career
After completing her schooling, Alla became a student at the Sevastopol National Technical University, pursuing a degree in medical electronics. During her studies, she continued to attend modeling classes. In her second year, she received an unexpected offer from the renowned Milan modeling agency "Why Not." Without hesitation, she transferred to distance learning and headed to Milan. She signed her first professional contract at the age of 20, which many consider a late start in the industry. Despite the challenges, Alla successfully adapted to the demanding schedule of fashion shows, strict dietary restrictions, and even health issues.

After completing her contract, Alla returned to Sevastopol and resumed her studies. However, she received another invitation, this time from the fashion house "Givenchy." Her catwalk appearances in Paris caught the attention of industry insiders. Upon returning home, Alla graduated with honors and signed a contract with the New York agency "Women," making New York her permanent residence. At 22 years old, her first New York season was a triumph. She walked in fifty-five fashion shows and was chosen to open shows for renowned brands such as Alexander McQueen and YSL. This success led to numerous opportunities with prestigious fashion houses, including Calvin Klein, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, and more. Alla's photos appeared in leading fashion magazines, with legendary photographer Steven Meisel capturing her for Vogue and other publications.
In 2009, Elle magazine named Alla Kostromicheva the best Ukrainian model, and she became the face of the Kiev Fashion Days sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. While continuing to participate in fashion shows, Alla began contemplating her own business ventures. In 2013, she announced the opening of her modeling agency called KModels. The agency has branches in five cities, with many models working in Milan, Paris, and other international locations. KModels stands out for providing free training and masterclasses for aspiring models, subjecting them to rigorous casting processes. Additionally, Alla collaborates with the Kiev Fashion Institute, the first Ukrainian educational project in high fashion.
Television Career and Personal Life
In 2013, Alla made her television debut as a host on the New Channel's show "Supermodel po-Ukrainski" (Supermodel in Ukrainian). She quickly mastered stage presence and camera etiquette, seamlessly integrating into the show's team. Throughout her work with models on the television show, Alla aims to convey the idea that one should believe in themselves, remain beautiful, and elegant under any circumstances. While Alla remains private about her personal life, it is known that she is in a serious relationship with Jason, a crisis manager residing in New York, who is nine years her senior and of Italian ethnicity. In 2015, Alla announced her pregnancy on Instagram, and on November 26 of the same year, she gave birth to a son named Salvi (full name Salavatore Capone). Alla quickly regained her figure and resumed modeling just a month after giving birth, attributing her fast recovery to proper nutrition during pregnancy and cardio workouts, which she started just a week after delivery.
Several months after her son's birth, Alla hosted the third season of "Supermodel po-Ukrainski," and Salvi even became a spectator on the show. When questioned about her marital status, Alla reveals that she and Jason are officially married. However, due to the estimated guest count of around 500, they have decided to postpone their wedding celebration. In her free time, Alla enjoys walking or cycling, and she has not yet acquired a car. She loves playing tennis, practices yoga regularly, and still possesses excellent knitting skills.
