Alvaro Rafael Gonzalez is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Uruguayan club "Nacional" and the national team of Uruguay. He began his career in 2003 with the club "Defensor Sporting". From 2003 to 2007, Gonzalez became one of the team's leaders, playing over a hundred matches in the Uruguayan championship.
