Amanda Plummer is an American actress who is gifted with a naturally recognizable and unique voice. She is the daughter of Canadian actor Christopher Plummer and American actress Tammy Grimes. Following in her family's footsteps, Amanda decided to pursue a career in theater. After several notable appearances on Broadway, Amanda won a Tony Award for her portrayal of a mentally disturbed nun in the play "Agnes of God".
A year earlier, she made a successful film debut in the lead role of a western movie called "Cattle Annie and Little Britches". Amanda's talent and distinctive voice were showcased in one of her most stunning silent roles in the film "The World According to Garp".
