Ambrose Olsen was born on November 27, 1985, in the small town of Homer, Alaska. With a population of approximately five thousand people, Homer was relatively isolated until the construction of its first road in 1951. Before pursuing a career in modeling, Ambrose had aspirations of becoming a carpenter, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He grew up as an athletic individual, enjoying hockey, surfing, and boxing - fortunately, the latter did not affect his appearance.

After completing high school, Olsen initially planned to volunteer for the Marine Corps but ended up in New York City in 2002, where he embarked on his journey in the fashion industry. In 2003, Ambrose participated in a 'Hugo Boss' advertising campaign alongside Brazilian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann. With his unique looks and rare charm, he was predicted to have a long and successful modeling career, as individuals with his distinctive features tend to become more captivating with age.
