Anatoly Oleksandrovych Tymoshchuk was born on March 30, 1979, in Lutsk, Ukraine. He is a retired Ukrainian footballer who played as a midfielder.
Early Life and Career
Tymoshchuk's family moved to Donetsk when he was 18 years old. Despite facing challenges, his hard work and determination earned him a solid position in both FC Shakhtar Donetsk and the Ukrainian national football team.
National Successes
As a member of Shakhtar Donetsk, Tymoshchuk achieved significant success. He became vice-champion of Ukraine in 1999 and 2000 and won the Ukrainian Cup in 2001 and 2002. In 2004, he was awarded the Ukrainian Order of Courage, III degree.
International Recognition
Tymoshchuk made his debut for the Ukrainian national team in 2000. He went on to become a key player, participating in the team's qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the 2012 UEFA European Championship.
Zenith St. Petersburg
In February 2007, Tymoshchuk transferred to Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg. He continued to excel, winning the Russian Premier League in 2007, 2010, and 2012, as well as the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2008.

Tymoshchuk is married to Nadiya, whom he met in Lutsk. They have two sons, Artur and Maxim. He is known for his love of Ukrainian cuisine, particularly red Ukrainian borsch and cucumber-tomato salad.
