Biography of Andreas Jacobs

Andreas Jacobs is a German entrepreneur who has been involved in business activities since 1992. He holds stakes in several well-known companies such as 'Minibar AG', 'Baar', and 'Acentic GmbH'. He also provided consulting services and managed projects at 'The Boston Consulting Group' in Munich for a period of time.

Andreas is the son of billionaire Klaus Johann Jacobs, and his family has a history dating back 900 years. He studied at the University of Freiburg, the University of Munich, and the University of Montpellier. In Freiburg, he received a doctorate degree in European competition law. Later, he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Fontainebleau, France.

Aside from his entrepreneurial activities, Andreas is actively involved in various philanthropic projects. He is known not only as a successful independent entrepreneur but also as a descendant of an influential and successful lineage. He has a brother named Christian.

In 2003, Andreas was nominated to the board of directors of 'Barry Callebaut'. By December 2005, he became the chairman of the board. He also serves on the boards of 'Jacobs Holding AG' (as chairman), 'Infront Sports & Media AG' in Switzerland (as vice-chairman), 'Minibar AG' (as chairman), 'Adecco SA', 'Maine Chance Farms Pty Ltd' in South Africa (as chairman), and 'Fogam AG' in Germany (as chairman).

Andreas Jacobs is married to Natalie Jacobs, and they have four children.
