Anthony Zerbe was born in Long Beach, California. He is an American actor who began his career after serving a short term in the Air Force. Zerbe moved to New York and enrolled in Stella Adler's theater studio, leaving college in Pomona at the age of nineteen. He then embarked on a career as an actor, touring the country with various theater companies.
Theater Career
Zerbe's notable theater roles include playing Iago in "Othello" and the titular role in "Cyrano de Bergerac". In 1990, Zerbe finally settled in one theater, accepting an offer to become the resident director of the Geva Theatre in Rochester.
