- Graduated with a Philology degree in 1970 and Physical Education degree in 1977 from Adyghe State Pedagogical Institute

Career in Physical Culture and Education

- Held leadership positions in the committees for physical culture and sports from 1971 to 1983

- Served as the director and general director in the Maykop vocational-technical education system from 1983 to 1994

- Appointed as the director of Vocational-Technical School No. 17 of the Republic of Adygea

University Administration and Leadership

- Became the rector of Maykop State Technological Institute (now Maykop State Technological University) in 1994

- Served as rector until 2006

Political Career

- Elected as a deputy to the Maykop City Council of People's Deputies several times between 1981 and 1990
