Biography of Ayako Hamada

Ayako Valentina Hamada Villarreal, known professionally as Ayako Hamada, is a Japanese-Mexican professional wrestler. She was born on February 14, 1981, in Mexico City, Mexico. Ayako comes from a wrestling family, as her father, Gran Hamada, was also a professional wrestler. Her older sister, Xóchitl Hamada, is also involved in professional wrestling.

Early Career

Ayako made her professional wrestling debut at the age of seventeen on August 9, 1998, in a match against Candy Okutsu as part of the ARSION project. She quickly rose through the ranks and became the Double Star ARSION Champion on June 30, 1999, less than a year after her debut, by winning a series of tag team matches alongside Mika Akino. On December 3, 2000, Ayako defeated Aja Kong and became the ARSION Queen of ARSION Champion.

Success in Japan and Mexico

In 2000, Ayako left ARSION and began exploring other wrestling projects. She continued to excel, winning several major titles in both Japanese and Mexican competitions. From 2005 to 2006, Ayako participated in the HUSTLE series under the pseudonyms Arisin Z and Dokron Z. She later started working with Dojo Kaoru Ito.

Ayako regularly appeared in the AAA (Asistencia Asesoría y Administración) wrestling series in Mexico, primarily in 2007 and 2008. On November 30, 2007, she teamed up with Mr. Niebla in a complex tag team match for the vacant Mixed Tag Team Championship. In November 2008, Ayako left the project and joined the wrestling school of Martha Villalobos.

Transition to TNA Wrestling

On April 8, 2009, it was announced at a press conference that Ayako's show on April 19 would be her last appearance in Japan, as she had signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). She made her debut for TNA on August 27, 2009, on an episode of Impact! In her debut match, Ayako defeated her opponent, Daffney, impressively. She continued to compete in TNA, participating in various matches and storylines.

Continued Success

In addition to her appearances in TNA, Ayako debuted in the Shimmer Women Athletes wrestling promotion in November 2009. She temporarily left the show but returned in April 2010 for additional tapings. Ayako also began competing in Jersey All Pro Wrestling's Women's Division in January 2010, defeating Rachel Summerlyn and calling out Sara Del Rey for a future match.
