Biography of Ayda Field
Ayda Sabahat Evecan, known professionally as Ayda Field, was born on May 17, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Gwen Field, is an American film producer, while her father has Turkish heritage. Field is fluent in both Turkish and English and also speaks French and Italian.
Education and Early Career
Field graduated from Harvard-Westlake School in North Hollywood in 1997. During her time there, she studied alongside future Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal. She then went on to attend Duke University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in International Politics and Economics. Field later pursued law at Columbia University in New York, but left her studies when she was offered a role in a television series.
Television Career
Field made her television debut in 2000 with a role in the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," which has been airing on NBC since November 8, 1965 and has over 11,478 episodes. As the show is filmed in California, Field returned home from New York to pursue her acting career. Ultimately, she found success in comedic roles.
Field appeared in the series "Men, Women & Dogs" in 2001 and starred in TV movies such as "Romeo Fire" (2002) and "Platonically Incorrect" (2003). She played various characters in the TV show "Blue Collar TV" (2004-2006) and made guest appearances in the sitcom "Eve" (2005). Field joined the main cast of the television series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and portrayed the character Jeannie Whatley.
Field also appeared in 11 episodes of the Fox series "Back to You" (2007-2008), playing the role of Montana Diaz Herrera, a weather forecaster. Her character was fired in the final episode titled "The New Boss."
Personal Life
Field is married to British singer and composer Robbie Williams. They began dating in May 2006 and started living together in 2009. In November 2009, Williams jokingly proposed to Field during a live radio interview on the Australian station FM 2Day. However, he later clarified that it was a joke and they were not engaged. Shortly after, it was revealed that Field and Williams were indeed engaged. They tied the knot on August 7, 2010 at Robbie's home in Beverly Hills. The ceremony was private and intimate, attended only by close friends and family of the bride and groom.
