Billy Barty, an American actor, popular filmmaker, and active social activist, was born on October 25, 1924, in Pennsylvania. At the age of six, Billy made his first appearance on screen, playing the roles of little children. Despite his talent, his small stature, just over one meter tall, made it extremely difficult for Billy to break into mainstream cinema. Consequently, Barty started working in vaudeville and achieved considerable success in this field. During this time, the talented Barty also pursued his education and attended a professional school in Hollywood.
