Bo Gilbert, a British woman, became the first 100-year-old model for Vogue magazine. She made history as the first centenarian to appear on the pages of Vogue. Bo Gilbert participated in a fashion campaign created by the Harvey Nichols department store chain specifically for the centenary of Vogue. The commemorative issue was released on May 5, 2016.

Living in a retirement home in Birmingham, Bo Gilbert received custom-made Valentino glasses, a Victoria Beckham top, a Dries Van Note coat, Céline shoes, a Lanvin necklace, and The Row trousers. She used all these branded items in her first-ever photoshoot. The centenarian's pictures were taken by fashion photographer Phil Poynter.

The Vogue centenary campaign, in conjunction with Kell Stewart's documentary film, aims to celebrate the 100th anniversary of British Vogue. In an accompanying video on YouTube, Bo stated, "I feel like I'm doing what many people will do in the future at my age." She added, "I just wanted to do it myself. I'm definitely not dressing up for boys."
