As a teenager, Gale immersed himself in the world of comics, creating his own "The Green Vomit" series and co-founding a popular comic book club. Along with his brother, Charles, he produced a three-part parody of Republic Pictures' "Commando Cody" series, featuring the character "Commando Cus."
Filmmaking Partnership with Robert Zemeckis
Gale attended the University of Southern California, where he met Robert Zemeckis. Together, they penned several screenplays, including "1941," "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," "Used Cars," and "Trespass."
