Early Life and Education
Boris Valerievich Georgiev was born on August 21, 1967, in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Coming from a family of builders, he was expected to follow in their footsteps. However, fate had other plans.
Military Service
After graduating from high school in 1984, Georgiev enrolled in the engineering physics faculty of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. However, in 1986, he abruptly left his studies and joined the Soviet Army as a cadet in a sergeant school. He served in Germany as a commander of a combat infantry vehicle and a radio detachment.
Return to Civilian Life
Georgiev returned home in 1988 and found himself in a vastly changed country. Despite the societal upheaval, he re-enrolled at the Polytechnic Institute and graduated in 1991.
Career in Business
