Milan Kovač was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. His childhood was filled with music, as he initially learned to play the accordion before transitioning to the saxophone, which he taught himself.

Formation of the Jazz Ensemble

Chamber Music Theater "Ogledalo"

In 1989, Kovač established the Chamber Music Theater "Ogledalo" in Novi Sad. This venture marked his shift towards working primarily in intimate musical settings.
