Brian Limond, also known as Limmy, is a Scottish comedian, actor, and web developer. He gained popularity through his website and blog. In late 2006, his daily podcast 'Limmy's World of Glasgow' caught the attention of leading British media outlets. In early 2010, Brian achieved success with his sketch show 'Limmy's Show'. However, he faced criticism from his readers after making a 'joke about assassination' on Twitter on the eve of Donald Trump's inauguration.

Born on October 20, 1974, in Glasgow, Scotland, Brian Limond grew up in the Carnwadric area before moving to Priesthill. After completing his secondary education, Brian studied printing, electronic publishing, and multimedia technologies. He then used a government grant to support himself while searching for employment. Unfortunately, his mother passed away in 1995.

On January 19, 2016, the day before Donald Trump's inauguration, Limmy posted a tweet stating, 'Looking forward to Trump's assassi... inauguration.' The tweet received nearly 2100 retweets but received unfavorable responses from Limmy's American followers. Some called him mentally ill, while others reminded him that such statements toward the president are criminal offenses.

Trump supporters filed complaints with various authorities and called on the president to join the conversation. When suggestions to imprison the comedian for joking about the president's assassination arose, the British public reminded everyone that US laws do not hold any jurisdiction within the United Kingdom.

Some Americans proposed extraditing Limmy to the United States and then sending him to Guantanamo prison. One message read, 'Even if he were the Queen of England, I wouldn't care. He's insane!'

Responding sarcastically to the ongoing discussion, Brian published a new tweet with the caption, 'Does this suit make me look fat?'
