Biography of Carlito
Carlito, a thirty-year-old wrestler, has won all the most prestigious wrestling titles. He has won the Heavyweight Champion title eleven times! He also holds the titles of Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion. Carlito is the only wrestler in the history of the International Wrestling Federation to win a title in his first appearance on "SmackDown". Lucky Carlito, known by this name to wrestling fans, was only twenty years old at the time.
Wrestling Dynasty
Carlito, a Puerto Rican wrestler, comes from a wrestling dynasty. His real surname, Colon, has been associated with wrestling long before Carlito's appearance. His father, Carlos Colon, performed in the wrestling rings in Puerto Rico since 1965, winning over 50 titles, including the Universal Champion title of the International Federation, which he won at least 26 times. It was Carlos Colon who became his son's trainer. Carlito's older brother, Eddie Colon, is also a wrestler. The young Carlito had no choice but to continue the glorious list of family victories.
A Bold and Lively Wrestler
Carlito literally burst into the world of professional wrestling. In 2004, as a newcomer, a green rookie, Carlito unexpectedly defeated John Cena in the ring. It was an audacious act that immediately provoked a negative reaction. Moreover, Carlito forcefully fed his defeated opponents... with apples!
Ups and Downs
Troubles did not take long to arise, and soon Carlito had many willing to put an end to the lucky newcomer. However, Carlito was incredibly lucky. In just two years of performances, from January 2000 to December 2001, he became the absolute champion of the Federation four times. Luck turned away from Carlito in 2004 when a brutal injury literally knocked him out of the ring. Until 2005, Carlito was on a creative break. However, he did not sit idly by and opened his own show called "Carlito's Cabana". In his show, Carlito boldly mocked the wrestlers, parodied them quite maliciously, and delighted the audience with his audacious persona.
Return to the Ring
In 2005, after recovering from the injury, he returned to the international ring and to "SmackDown". Carlito is not afraid to make enemies. He is ready and happy to meet any of them in the ring. He fights his battles while in a constant race for the most prestigious title of the Intercontinental Champion. Carlito, at the age of thirty, has repeatedly won all the most prestigious wrestling titles. He has won the Heavyweight Champion title eleven times! He also holds the titles of Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion. He is a multiple-time Champion in tag team matches.
