Christine Lakin is an American film and television actress. She was born on January 25, 1979, in Dallas, Texas. Lakin's family frequently moved, and when they finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia, she began her acting career. She joined the theater group "Atlanta Workshop Players" and performed their plays in schools across the city. Her first television appearances were in the series "ABC TGIF" and "Roseanne and Tom Arnold" in 1990.
In 1991, Lakin took her first step towards fame by playing the role of Alicia Lambert in the popular comedy series "Step by Step," alongside Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Brandon Call, and Staci Keanan. She continued to appear in "Step by Step" until the show ended in 1998. During this time, she actively pursued roles in various projects.
In 2000, Lakin appeared in three feature films: "Going Greek," "The Hottie & the Nottie," and "Valentine's Day." She also had roles in the television series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Boston Public." Lakin portrayed the character Margo Delfino in the series "CSI: Miami" for nine seasons until its cancellation in 2009.
In 2006, Lakin became a regular on the MTV shows "Wild 'N Out" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" In 2008, she starred alongside Paris Hilton in the film "The Hottie & the Nottie," which received negative reviews and even won the "Golden Raspberry Award" for Worst Screen Couple.
