Biography of Claire Morgan

Claire Morgan is a 34-year-old British woman who almost called off her own wedding because of her nose. She felt self-conscious and didn't want to be photographed or seen by the guests. However, her circumstances changed dramatically shortly before the ceremony.

Childhood Bullying

Even in school, Claire Morgan became the target of teasing from children who called her "Big Bird," referring to the big-nosed yellow bird from "Sesame Street." Even as an adult, Morgan couldn't overcome the past humiliations, refusing to be photographed and dreaming of changing her appearance.

First Plastic Surgery

In March 2005, when Morgan turned 25, she decided to undergo her first nose surgery. She paid £3500 and found a surgeon who agreed to remove the hump on her nose. Initially, she was satisfied with the preliminary results shown to her. However, when the bandages were removed after two weeks, she was shocked by her reflection in the mirror. She felt like a plastic surgery victim and believed that she looked even "worse than before."

Disappointing Results

The surgeon assured Morgan that she would eventually change her opinion, but a month later, she discovered that her nasal bones not only failed to heal properly but had also separated. She was offered corrective surgeries, but even after the procedures, Morgan was disappointed with the outcome. She felt that the tip of her nose and nostrils appeared sharp and lost hope that things could ever improve.

Meeting Ryan

To distract herself, Morgan agreed to go on a vacation with friends. It was during this trip that she met her future husband, Ryan. Morgan told him about her unsuccessful surgeries and that she wanted to be honest. Ryan reassured her, saying she looked fantastic, but she knew she wouldn't be truly happy until she fixed her nose.

Second Plastic Surgery

After returning from the vacation, Morgan decided to undergo a second nose surgery. However, she was horrified when she saw her tiny nose tip after two weeks. She angrily parted ways with the surgeon and sought help from a therapist who explained that after three failed surgeries, finding another willing surgeon would be challenging.

Discovering a New Method

In 2010, Ryan proposed to Morgan, and they soon welcomed their first child, James. The couple decided it was time to set a wedding date and chose August 12, 2012. Partial payments had already been made for the celebration when Morgan realized she couldn't bear the thought of being photographed with her despised nose. She even considered canceling everything. While researching her failed surgeries online, she stumbled upon a new treatment method – nose reconstruction using fillers, without the need for surgery.

The Joyful Transformation

Morgan sought help 16 weeks before her wedding ceremony. After the first course of injections, she cried tears of joy. Finally, her nose looked normal, just as she had wanted it to be years ago after her first surgery. Two weeks later, Claire was ready for her big day. For the first time in years, she enjoyed being photographed and felt amazing in her dress. She no longer compared herself to a beaten boxer but instead felt like a true bride. Morgan decided to share her story and concluded, "If only I had known about this method earlier, I wouldn't have spent so many years hating my appearance."
