Cole Mitchell Sprouse Biography
Cole Mitchell Sprouse, born on August 4, 1992, is an American actor known for his numerous roles alongside his twin brother, Dylan Thomas Sprouse. They are commonly referred to as the "Sprouse twins." Cole and Dylan gained widespread recognition for their performances in various films and television shows.

Early Life and Career
Cole and Dylan Sprouse were born in Arezzo, Italy to American parents, Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright. When the twins were four months old, the family moved back to the United States. Dylan, named after the poet Dylan Thomas, is fifteen minutes older than Cole, named after jazz musician and singer Nat King Cole. The brothers grew up in Long Beach, California.
In 1997, their parents divorced. Under the guidance of their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, who was a drama teacher and actress, the twins began performing at the age of six months. They made their first appearance on screen in a diaper commercial. Like many other twin actors, the Sprouse twins often played the same role, allowing the production to capture more footage.
At six months old, they landed a role in the television series "Grace Under Fire," where they portrayed Patrick Kelly for five years. In 1999, the boys landed their first major film role in "Big Daddy," where they played Julian, a child adopted by Adam Sandler's character. That same year, they also collaborated with Sandler on his second and third versions of the Hanukkah song album.
After this initial success, their careers experienced a lull, with only minor roles in television shows and films in the early 2000s. In 2001, Cole started playing Ben Geller, Ross Geller's son, in the popular comedy series "Friends." However, their true fame came with the Disney Channel series "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and its spin-off "The Suite Life on Deck."
Recent Work and Recognition
Following the success of their Disney Channel shows, the Sprouse twins became idols for many of their peers. In April 2009, "People" magazine dedicated a special issue exclusively to the brothers. Cole and Dylan continued to act in various projects individually after the conclusion of their Disney Channel series.
Cole Mitchell Sprouse has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor. He has continued to pursue his acting career while also exploring other passions, such as photography.
