Biography of Dagmara Domińczyk
Dagmara Domińczyk is a Polish-American actress who was born on July 17, 1976, in Kielce, Poland. She is the daughter of Mirosław Domińczyk, an activist of the Polish movement "Solidarity." In 1983, her family moved to New York after her parents were expelled from Poland for their involvement in the "International Amnesty" and the "Solidarity" movement.
Early Life and Education
Dagmara Domińczyk attended Carnegie Mellon University in 1998. During her time there, she displayed a passion for acting and pursued opportunities in the theater.
Acting Career
In 1999, she worked as an understudy for actress Anna Friel in the Broadway play "Closer" by Patrick Marber. Domińczyk also appeared in the play "Magical April" in 2003.
Personal Life
On June 18, 2005, Dagmara Domińczyk married actor Patrick Wilson. The couple has two sons together: Kalin Patrick Wilson, born on June 23, 2006, and Cassian MacCarrell Wilson, born on August 9, 2009.
