Daniele Tudin

Daniele Tudin is an Italian ice hockey player who currently plays as a left-winger for the HC Val Gardena.

Early Career and International Play

Tudin represented Italy at the European and World Junior Championships throughout his youth. He made his debut for the Italian national team at the 2001 World Championships and also participated in the 2003 World Championship Division I.

Controversial Incident and Ban

After making racist remarks towards dark-skinned player Luca Zandonella on December 26, 2005, Tudin was stripped of his right to represent Italy on the international stage.

Club Career

Tudin began his club career with WSV Sterzing before joining HC Alleghe in 2001. With Alleghe, he finished as a finalist in the 2002 Italian Championship and the 2008 Italian Cup. He later moved to HC Val Gardena in 2010, where he has remained ever since.
