Biography of Dave Koz

Dave Koz is an American saxophonist known for his performances in the jazz and smooth jazz genres. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he developed an interest in jazz music during his school years and decided to learn to play the saxophone.

After playing in various jazz bands for a long time, Koz decided to start a solo career in the late 80s. In 1990, his works "Nothing But the Radio On" and "Castle of Dreams" made it into the top 10 of the most famous jazz hit parades.

Koz gained the attention of renowned artists such as Michael Bolton and Kenny Loggins. He became a frequent guest on the popular American program "Arsenio Hall Show", appeared as a guest star on the series "General Hospital", and also performed at President Clinton's inauguration.

In the late 90s, the musician started hosting his own radio show, which became hugely successful among jazz music enthusiasts.
