Biography of Dave Seaman

Dave Seaman, a British DJ, was born on April 29, 1968, in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England. He grew up listening to his parents' records of Carpenters and Barry White. As he got older, Seaman became interested in electro and dance music.

In the late 80s, Seaman competed in the DJ championship organized by DMC. As a result, he was offered the opportunity to perform at the New Music Seminar in New York and later secured a job at DMC. Alongside Steve Anderson, their duo Brothers In Rhythm worked with renowned pop stars such as Kylie Minogue, Take That, and Pet Shop Boys. In recent years, they have also created numerous remixes for various artists and bands including M People, Sasha, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Seal, Sting, Placebo, Garbage, Bruce Hornsby, Eurythmics, New Order, Blur, and Pulp.

Seaman is not only a member of the esteemed duo Brothers In Rhythm but also a well-known house DJ and producer. He has been associated with Renaissance since its early days, a highly acclaimed English club. Seaman has performed in almost all renowned clubs around the world. His DJ style and work with Brothers In Rhythm are closely associated with the musical style known as epic house, with Sasha and John Digweed being its main driving forces.

Dave frequently tours, performs in famous clubs, and collaborates with popular labels. For example, he recorded two albums with Global Underground for their Clubbox series in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1999), and Cape Town, South Africa (2000).
