Canadian actor David R. Satcliffe was born on June 8, 1969, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He spent his childhood in Grimsby and St. Catharines, Ontario. In 1990, he graduated from Victoria College at the University of Toronto, where he studied English literature. Satcliffe played for the university basketball team, but his sports career did not materialize due to a serious knee injury. He also worked part-time at a local diner while studying.
Early Career
Soon after university, David found a new dream - to become an actor. He went to New York to pursue this dream. There, he appeared in several commercials until he landed a role in the vampire series "Forever Knight" in 1995. After that, he appeared in small roles in multiple projects, including the crime series "Due South" and the thriller "Where's the Money, Noreen?" In the late 1990s, David Satcliffe participated in various television series and movies in both Canada and the United States. He starred in the romantic drama "A Holiday Romance," the action film "Night of the Twisters," the sci-fi series "Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal," the crime action film "Melanie Darrow," the series "Fast Track," and the thriller "Held for Ransom," where Charlie Sheen played the lead role.
