At the age of six, Deborah recorded her first demos in the home of Robert Plant, who lived nearby the Bonham family. Sending her recordings anonymously, Deborah soon received a positive response from the European label Carerre Records. It was with this label that her first album, 'For You and the Moon', was released. Despite facing some criticism, the album reached the Top 5 chart of 'NME', received airplay on BBC Radio 1, and sold well in Europe.
