Early Life and Education

Andriy Kostinis a Ukrainian lawyer and public figure who has made significant contributions to his country's legal and political landscapes. He holds a law degree from the Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law and furthered his education at the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, earning a Candidate of Legal Sciences degree.

Professional Experience

Kostincommenced his career in academia as a lecturer at the Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law and later headed its Department of Legislation and Scientific Expertise. He also gained practical experience as a jurist with various companies, including Hillmont Partners (2007), Global Ties KC (2009), and Legal Consulting LLC (2015-2017).

Social and Civic Engagements

Kostinis actively involved in social and civic organizations. He is a member of the Main Council of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments and served as Secretary of the Contest Commission for the Establishment of the State Bureau of Investigations. Additionally, he is an expert with the Ukrainian Institute for the Future.

Political Career

Kostinentered politics in 2019, running as a candidate for the Servant of the People party in the parliamentary elections. He was placed 19th on the party's list and was successfully elected to the Ukrainian Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada.

Within the Verkhovna Rada, Kostinchairs the Committee on Law Enforcement Activities. Furthermore, he was nominated for the position of Minister of Internal Affairs on July 13, 2021.

Publications and Research

Kostinis an accomplished author and researcher. He has co-authored 25 scientific publications, three textbooks ("Norm Creation in Legal Clinics," "Jurisprudence," and "Legal Writing"), and contributed to approximately 70 draft laws submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

Affiliations

Since 2006, Kostinhas been a co-founder and member of the board of the Podilsky Youth Cultural Association "To the Future through Culture."

Personal Life

Kostincurrently resides in the city of Khmelnytskyy.
