Early Career and Deportivo Quito

Dixon Arroyo, an Ecuadorian footballer, began his professional career with Deportivo Quito. Making his debut in the Ecuadorian Primera on February 6, 2010, against Emelec, Arroyo helped Deportivo Quito win the championship the following year. His first goal for the club came against Manta on February 11, 2012.

Loan Spells and Independiente del Valle

In 2013, Arroyo joined LDU Loja, debuting against his former club Deportivo Quito on January 26. He scored his first goal for LDU Loja on September 14 against Manta. In 2015, Arroyo moved to Independiente del Valle, making his debut on January 31 against Universidad Catolica. Scoring his first goal for Independiente on August 14, 2016, against the same opponent, Arroyo played a crucial role in the club's journey to the Copa Libertadores final that year.

Emelec and International Career

In 2018, Arroyo joined Emelec, debuting against El Nacional on February 17. As part of Ecuador's youth teams, he won a bronze medal at the 2011 South American Youth Championship and participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2011 Pan American Games.

Inter Miami and the Ecuadorian National Team

Arroyo signed with Inter Miami in Major League Soccer on April 13, 2023, after making his Ecuadorian national team debut in a friendly against Bolivia on March 29, 2021. He was also part of Ecuador's squad for the 2021 Copa America.
