Early Life and Training

Alexander Tkachenko was born in Krasnodar, Russia, and developed his soccer skills at Kuban Krasnodar. He began his professional career at Izumrud Timashevsk at the age of 16.

Shakhtar Donetsk (1999-2001)

In 1999, Tkachenko was invited to join Shakhtar Donetsk. He played for the club's reserve team, Shakhtar-2, and was once included in the first team squad.

Return to Kuban and Loan to Armenia (2001-2004)

In 2001, Tkachenko returned to Kuban, who promptly loaned him to Spartak Yerevan. After the merger of Spartak and Banants, Tkachenko helped the team achieve second place in the Armenian Premier League in 2003. His performances earned him consideration for the Armenian national team and a possible citizenship change.

Donbas Metallurg (2004-Present)

In 2004, Tkachenko moved to Metallurg Donetsk. He made his Ukrainian Premier League debut in 2005 against Volyn Lutsk. In the same year, he was loaned to Metallurg Zaporizhia, where he played only two matches. Tkachenko currently serves as a backup goalkeeper for Metallurg Donetsk.

International Career

Tkachenko represented Russia at the 1994 UEFA European Under-16 Championship, playing in a match against Switzerland.

Tkachenko is married to Viktoria, and they have a daughter named Eva, born in 2009.
