Biography of Edgar Jimenez Lugo
Edgar Jimenez Lugo, a Mexican contract killer, was an employee of one of the local drug cartels. He gained media attention primarily due to his young age - according to his own accounts, he started killing people for money (and out of fear for his own life) at the age of 11. Edgar was born in San Diego, California. He became involved in the criminal world at the age of 11 when he was kidnapped by a group of drug traffickers. Lugo was forced to carry out their orders, primarily driven by fear, as the gang threatened to kill him if he did not comply. However, the drug mafia compensated him quite well for his laborious work - he received around $2500 for each murder.
Work for the Cartel del Pacifico Sur
Lugo worked as a hitman for the notorious drug cartel "Cartel del Pacifico Sur," under the leadership of Jesus Radilla. The young assassin was responsible for at least four murders. According to Lugo himself, he killed his victims in a cruel manner, subjecting them to prolonged torture. The bodies of the victims were later beheaded and displayed on a highway bridge near the Cuernavaca-Mexico road, which occurred approximately two months ago. Lugo did not work alone - his sisters assisted him. The girls seduced the men targeted by Lugo, significantly facilitating his work. One of the sisters was arrested alongside Edgar; both were reportedly present at the airport. Interestingly, the sister was five years older than her infamous brother.
Police Investigation and Arrest
The police took an interest in the young killer after the emergence of several videos and photographs of Lugo on the internet. In these videos, Lugo was captured in the company of his victims, and in one of the clips, he even confessed to his crimes while displaying the head of one of the murdered individuals to the camera. The authorities also have questions about Edgar's sister, Elizabeth, who is presumed to have held a certain rank in the cartel's combat unit. Lugo was apprehended at Xochitepec airport, where it is believed he planned to travel to Tijuana and then to San Diego to reunite with his mother. One of his sisters was expected to follow the same route. The authorities continue their hunt for the remaining individuals who carelessly appeared in the internet videos.
