Early Life and EducationBorn on June 21, 1992, in Manavgat, Antalya, Turkey, Ismet Ekin Koç is a bright and ambitious actor. His parents, Veybi Koç (father) and Sefik Koç (mother), work in the tourism and banking sectors, respectively. Koç has two older brothers, one of whom moved out in 1997.
As a Gemini, Koç exhibits creativity and determination. After completing high school, he enrolled in a finance and economics program at a university in Istanbul. However, his true passion lay in English language and theater. During his studies, Koç took classes in both subjects and participated as a model to supplement his income.
Acting Career
Koç's acting journey began in 2013 when he auditioned for a role in the series "Yağmurdan Sonra" ("After the Rain"). His performance in the show caught the attention of critics, who praised his sincerity and ability to portray emotions effectively.
In 2015, Koç landed his breakthrough role as Sultan Ahmed I in the historical drama "Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem Sultan" ("Magnificent Century: Kösem Sultan").
