Career as a Television and Radio Host
Mondale began her broadcasting career in the late 1980s. She served as a correspondent for "The Rock 'n' Roll Evening News" in 1986 and later reported for "E! News Daily" and "Favorite Deadly Sins" in 1995. Her lively and engaging reporting style quickly won over audiences, making her a popular figure in the American media landscape.

In 2005, Mondale was diagnosed with brain cancer. She underwent chemotherapy in 2006 and appeared to have recovered. However, in 2008, a small tumor was detected during a follow-up examination. Mondale then began receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic.

Despite her diagnosis, Mondale has not allowed cancer to define her life. She continues to live an active and fulfilling life, hosting the midday show on WCCO Radio, traveling, and spending time with her husband and friends.
