Eric Carmen passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 74. His wife, Amy, announced his death on the official website, stating that he passed peacefully in his sleep. Amy requested privacy during this time and announced preparations for a funeral service. The final quote from Amy's post, "Faithful and True," is a nod to Carmen's 1977 composition, "Love Is All That Matters."
