Early Life and Education

Ermine Nagdalyan was born on July 28, 1960, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR. She graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy in 1981, earning a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree.

Career

Academic and Research

From 1981 to 1989, Nagdalyan worked at the Armenian branch of the All-Union Research Institute of Consumer Cooperatives, where she held various positions, including junior scientific researcher, senior scientific researcher, head of a subdivision, and head of a department.

Business and Entrepreneurship

In 1989, Nagdalyan became the executive director of the Union of Cooperatives of Armenia. In 1991, she was appointed president of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Armenia.

Military Service

Nagdalyan participated in the liberation battles of Artsakh from 1991 to 1994. She received the medals "Participant of Military Actions" and "Marshal Baghramyan" for her service.

Political Career

National Assembly

Nagdalyan served as a member of the National Assembly from 1995 to 2003. She was a member of the "Republic" faction, later joining the "Yerkrapah" parliamentary group. In 1999, she became a member of the "Miasyutyun" faction.

Commission Memberships

Nagdalyan was appointed to the Standing Commission on Financial, Credit, Budgetary, and Economic Issues. In 2003, she also became a member of the temporary commission to study the possibilities of restoring and compensating the savings deposits of Armenian citizens invested in "Armsberbank."

Other Activities

Nagdalyan is the president of the Association of Business Women. She is also a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
