Biography of Errol Anthony Stevens
Errol Anthony Stevens, a Jamaican football player, was born on June 4, 1987. He is widely known as a forward and has represented the Jamaican national team.
Early Life and Football Career
Stevens began playing football at a very young age, claiming to have started at the age of two. There are even photographs to support this claim. He initially played in the second division and made his debut at the age of 14. Later on, he moved up to the Premier League of Jamaica.
According to Stevens, football players in Jamaica do not have as many opportunities to play as those in Europe or Russia. However, fate took a turn in his favor when his friend Akim Presley, with whom he played for the "Harbour View" team until the summer of 2009, recommended him to an agent who had the ability to arrange trials in Serbia and Russia.
Opportunity in Serbia and Russia
Stevens flew to Serbia, specifically to the city of Novi Sad, where he played three impressive games that caught the attention of the agent. Impressed by his skills, the agent proposed a trial opportunity in Russia. On August 20, 2009, Stevens signed a contract with "FC Khimki" until the end of the season. Just two days later, he made his debut for the club in a match against CSKA Moscow.
Errol Anthony Stevens' journey from playing in Jamaica to signing a contract with a Russian club showcases his determination and talent in the world of football.
