Her father, Omani Abdullah, is an Iranian Turkmen, while her mother, Gülay Abdullah, is a homemaker of Turkish descent. Farah studied at the French Lycée Saint-Michel in Istanbul and completed her secondary education in the United Kingdom, becoming fluent in French and English.
