Biography of Farhod Gafuri
Early Life and EducationFarhod Gafuri was born in Vahdat, Tajikistan, and displayed a passion for music from a young age. He studied piano and vocals at the Fozil Soliev boarding school for gifted students. In 2011, he enrolled in the "Mirzo Tursunzoda" Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts, graduating with honors in 2016 with a degree in Directing.
Professional Career
Radio and TelevisionGafuri's professional career began in 2017 with the state-owned "Varzish TV" channel, where he worked as a director in the news department.
Music
In 2016, Gafuri made his public debut on the television competition "Mumtoz" with his song "Mama," earning second place. This success led to his involvement in the TV movie "The Fugitives."
