Biography of Feruza Ruzieva

Childhood and Youth

Feruza Ruzieva was born on July 4, 1983, in Navoi, Uzbekistan. Navoi is known for its mining industry, specifically the extraction of rare earth elements, precious metals, and uranium. While the mining industry thrived in the area, there was a lack of theaters and other cultural centers. Despite this, Feruza found a way to express her creative potential by dedicating herself to dancing. She grew up performing on the stage of the local Palace of Culture and planned to pursue a professional career in dance.

After a month, her father organized a grand Uzbek wedding for her, and her parents eventually accepted her decision to live in Moscow.
