Early Life and Background
Firiuza Sharipovawas born on August 29, 1994, in Taraz, Kazakhstan. The Uzbek-born athlete became the second child in a family that later welcomed three more children: two boys and a girl.
Amateur Boxing Career
Early Years and National SuccessAt the age of 12, Sharipova began her boxing journey. She honed her skills under personal trainers Erik Algabek and Felix Choi. She earned two gold medals at the Kazakhstan Championships (2012, 2013), one silver (2014), and one bronze (2016).
International Competition
In 2012, Sharipova represented Kazakhstan at the Asian Championships, taking home a bronze medal. However, she faced setbacks at the World Championships, losing in the early rounds.
Professional Career
Debut and ChallengesSharipova made her professional debut on May 21, 2016, suffering a defeat against Russian boxer Sofia Ochigava. Undeterred, she sought guidance from renowned trainer Vyacheslav Yanovsky in Moscow.

In 2017, Sharipova established her promotional company, FSK Promotion. That same year, she achieved major success, capturing both the WIBA and WBU lightweight world titles in a hard-fought 10-round bout against Milena Koleva of Bulgaria.

On December 30, 2017, Sharipova faced Jemilla Gontarev of Belgium for the vacant IBO and WBC Silver super-featherweight world titles. In another 10-round battle, she prevailed via unanimous decision, securing both belts.
