Giovanni Bolzoni, an Italian midfielder, currently plies his trade for Novara Calcio. His journey in football began in San Colombano al Lambro before he joined the youth academy of Inter Milan.

Bolzoni ascended through Inter's age groups, from the under-13s to the under-20s. He crowned his youth career with a Primavera (Italian youth championship) triumph.

Senior Debut and Champions League Breakthrough

On February 1, 2007, Bolzoni made his senior debut for Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final against Sampdoria. He featured on the bench in a Champions League match against Fenerbahçe on September 19 but made his Champions League debut on October 2 against PSV Eindhoven, replacing Santiago Solari in the 70th minute. In the return leg, he started the game and played the full 90 minutes.

Professional Contract and Loan Spells

Bolzoni signed his first professional contract in 2008, tying him to Inter until 2012. He made his Serie A debut on May 24, 2009, coming on as a substitute for Cristian Chivu.
