In 1961, Friedhelm Loh, a German entrepreneur, established the Loh Group of companies. Today, the family-owned Friedhelm Loh Group is a global manufacturing and engineering conglomerate with 12 subsidiaries: Rittal GmbH & Co., Ritto, Stahlo, LKH, Lampertz, Neef, Alupro, and Loh.
Early Life and Family Business
Friedhelm Loh was born into a family of entrepreneurs in 1946 in Germany. His father, Rudolf Loh, had founded a small metalworking factory in 1947, which would eventually become the cornerstone of the Loh Group. Loh inherited his father's business acumen and expanded it significantly over the years.
